Batesville, Arkansas, my home sweet home! This is Main Street, the most common street in the city. Walking down the street today, the cold wind stings your face, and the fall leaves land lightly on the ground. Looking at all the stores people are laughing and talking amongst themselves. The air is filled with the strong aroma of The Greasy Spoon's hot breakfast. Which is a fabulous place to stop in and eat.
During the holiday season, like Christmas, the street has there annual Christmas parade. The white snow sparkles in the night while the big Christmas trees shine through houses' windows. The hot chocolate warms your tongue while you sit back and enjoy the big floats that pass by with colorful lights and decorations. You can't forget all the people in costumes, handing out or throwing candy. The Christmas carols ring in your ears and children race to the candy on the streets. The joy and happiness of everyone leaves you with memories that will last a life time.
